Our Story

Gita Marketing Co. commenced operations in April 2000 with a singular mission: ensure that manufacturing operations never stop for want of operationally critical components.

Founded in Bengaluru, Karnataka by Mr. S. V. Subramanian, what began as a modest service to a handful of local customers has evolved over 26 years into a trusted distributor for industrial products serving industry leaders across India. Registered as an MSME from inception, the company supports India’s manufacturing sector growth.

Mr. S. V. Subramanian

With over 50 years of experience in sales and marketing across automotive and industrial products, Mr. Subramanian built Gita Marketing Co. on expertise gained from roles at:

● Upper India Trading Company - Technical Automotive Products
● LUCAS Indian Service Limited – Technical automotive products
● Swastic Rubber Products Limited – Rubber components and industrial hose applications
● Polyhose (India) Private Limited – Hose manufacturing and industrial applications

His journey through India’s industrial evolution reinforced one truth: when production stops, it is not just inventory at stake but competitive advantage, customer relationships and market position.
